Fortlaufende Nähte mit Fadendrill - Eine Zeit sparende und schonende Operationstechnik [1]

Zusammenfassung

Eine leichte Drillbewegung zwischen Daumen und Zeigefinger des assistierenden Chirurgen kann beim Führen einer fortlaufenden Naht den Faden in die gewünschte Position legen. In einem blinden Experiment mit 60 Gefäßanastomosen konnte bei Anwendung dieser Technik die Nahtzeit um 15 % verkürzt und die Manipulation und Korrektur der Nahtreihe mit Operationsinstrumenten um 63 % reduziert werden.

Abstract

A simple technique by twisting the thread in clockwise or counter clockwise direction before tightening the suture can help to produce a regular vascular suture line. In a blinded experiment with 60 vascular anastomosis it was proved that the time needed for suture can be reduced by 15 %, and that traumatic touch with surgical instruments can be diminished by 63 %.
